I used to date a gorgeous girl from my class. Her name was Okada, and she was really smart. We got close after ending up on the same student committee and chatting during meetings.

There was always something mysterious about Okada; she hardly ever talked about herself.

Eager to break the ice, I invited Okada over to my house and introduced her to my mom and my toddler brother. As it turned out, Okada loved kids. She was thrilled and kept going on about how cute my little brother was.

After that, Okada started coming over all the time. Studying and playing video games with her was a blast, but after a while, my mom and little brother started acting strange.

Every time Okada came over, my brother would fall ill, and my mom's attitude toward her began to harden.

Just as I was starting to wonder what was going on, Okada made an unexpected confession.

"Your mom told me not to come over anymore." "What?" "She told me to stay away from you, too."

Furious at my mom's overbearing behavior, I confronted her the second I walked through the door. But then, hesitating, my mom revealed Okada's true nature.

"Okada lied to Ma-kun and told him a bar of soap was candy, trying to get him to eat it."
